Hello my lovelies. And welcome to my newest makeup obsessions. I think everyone gets comfortable with their makeup routine and when you find something that works, why change it right? WRONG. There is always something new and exciting out there, thus the appeal of makeup. I have recently shaken things up in a few areas and it has paid off massively.
I’ve been lusting after the Too-Faced ‘Better Than Sex’ mascara for longer than I can remember, I’ve heard extremely mixed reviews but I’m absolutely loving it. Leave a comment below if you would like me to do a full review, with how the product actually looks on the lashes after 1 and then 2 coats.
I think you’ve been living under a rock if you haven’t heard about the Anastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow pomade. It’s been blowing up the beauty world for an absolute age, and I want to be a part of it. However, I’m not willing to part with the money unless I’ve tried it out thoroughly. Enter NYX Tame & Frame. Another brow pomade that comes in a wide range of colours, that has changed my brow game completely. It is so easy to use and create those sharp edges, having arched eyebrows is a gift I thought I would never receive. And at only £6.00, it would be rude not to.
Banana powder is something I really haven’t heard too much about. And it needs to be brought to everyone’s attention. If you want your under eyes to look bright and your concealer to not
crease all day, look no further. The Makeup Revolution Banana Powder is the stuff of dreams. It’s only £5.00 and it adds an extra 6 hours sleep to your face. What more could you ask? The only downside is the application is a bit of a mess, but a minor flaw in an otherwise amazing product.
And then next up, we have one of my most exciting finds. The Collection Primed & Ready Invisible Setting Powder, is so cheap and so good. It’s one of my favourite hidden gems. It sits so beautifully on top of the skin to set your foundation. It stays matte for at least 12 hours, and as it’s completely invisible it doesn’t alter the makeup you’ve created underneath. You HAVE to try it out.
Can you ever really compete with a classic MAC lipstick? I know I’ve certainly tried and haven’t found much that does. I’ve been dying to find a summery shade to brighten up my looks over the next few months, especially as it’s raining in August in the UK. So I wondered over to John Lewis, and there almost waiting for me, was Blankety. The perfect pinky nude is finally in my collection and I couldn’t be happier. It goes with essentially every look I can think of for the summer months. It glides on my lips so effortlessly, and it feels hydrating for the entirety. Go and get a swatch my loves!
And those are my latest makeup obsessions, let me know if you’ve tried any of them out or if you have any recent obsessions.
