Botanics Skincare Review | The Brand That’s Got Bloggers Buzzing

9th September 2017

Botanics skincare has taken over the social platforms of late, and I am LOVING it. Botanics got in contact with me to be a brand ambassador for the launch of their new campaign ‘The Plant One’. I won’t lie to you, I let out a little squeal and was tempted to ask them if they had contacted me by mistake. They couldn’t possibly want little ol’ me, to be a representative of their brand?! Lo and behold it was true, and a few days later I received my Botanics parcel. And let’s just say my skincare regime has been upped dramatically.

All Bright Purifying Face Scrub

What is it?
It is a very gentle facial scrub, that buffs away dead skin cells and unclogs pores which can both lead to break outs and unwanted texture on the skin.hombre rolex daytona 116519 caja de 39 mm movimiento automatico esfera negra

What’s in it?
It is absolutely packed with natural ingredients that your skin craves. The particles that make up the ‘scrub’ are in fact incredibly fine walnut shell and crushed apricot seeds, thus no harsh chemicals. Making it suitable for all skin types. And as it is part of the ‘All Bright’ range, it is infused with hibiscus extract to make your skin radiant.

What are the results?
I use the scrub every other day, just to make sure there is no build up of nastiness and I’ve noticed fewer blemishes, fewer blackheads and my skin has that ‘glowing from within’ look. Plus the smell is absolutely incredible! As soon as you use it you know your skin is screaming out hallelujah. It’s now my go to face scrub as it is that perfect balance of not too harsh on your skin but gets the results you want.

Organic Rosewater Refreshing Toning Spritz

What is it?
It’s toner without the faff. You quite literally spray it all over your face and neck once you’ve cleansed or when your skin is in need of refreshing. And it purifies your skin and prepares it for the next phase of your skincare regime.

What’s in it?
As the title may have given away it’s packed with organic ingredients, the star of the show is of course rosewater. Rosewater contains anti-inflammatory properties to reduce redness and irritation in the skin as well as unclogging pores of unwanted bacteria.

What are the results?
I have used this little beauty everyday since I received it, and multiple times a day at that. It refreshes the skin, making it feel clean and soothed. As well as tightening pores, extracting dirt from pores and allows moisturiser to work to it’s best ability. This bottle has even found its way into my gym bag, to cool down and soothe my skin after a work out. It smells devine and it is probably my favourite item that I received.

All Bright Hydrating Day Cream SPF 15

What is it?
A morning moisturiser with the same properties as the ‘All Bright’ scrub, to alleviate dryness and tight skin. It is quite a thick consistency, making it easy to use as much or as little as you like.

What’s in it?
As it is part of the ‘All Brights’ range it also has extract of hibiscus in it to make your skin radiant and improve the skins texture. It also has added sunscreen, making it perfect for travelling and those ‘natural skin days’.

What are the results?
As I have MEGA oily skin, I use moisturiser on alternate days. I notice that if I use a tiny amount under my eyes and across my T zone, my skin is noticeably glowing. And if I put on makeup over the top it does keep the oils at bay, making the longevity of my makeup longer – 2 big ticks in my book. It is quite thick, perfect for anyone with dry skin, but to my oily Conrad’s it really is a case of less is more.yves saint laurent 505844 1 ysl messenger bags

Organic Hydrating Day Cream

What is it?
You guessed it. Another morning moisturiser to alleviate dry and tight skin. Shock!

What’s in it?
This moisturiser is part of the ‘Organic’ range that the toning spritz is in. Much like the spritz, the spotlight is on roses, and this time we have rosehip. Rosehip contains such fabulous properties for your skin, as it actively fights against sun damage, keeping you looking younger. As well as improving your skin tone, texture and pigmentation.

What are the results?
Like I said, I use these on alternate days to one another. However, the ingredients in this particular moisturiser tick more of my boxes. As I suffered with acne my skin tone is still quite uneven, and it takes a long time for blemish marks to disappear. Whereas I’ve noticed them healing a hell of a lot quicker when I use this little gem. As well as my skin feeling more plump and fine lines starting to be ironed out. I love it!

Let me know if you’ve used any of the Botanics range, and your must haves!
