November Favourites | It’s The Final Countdown

2nd December 2017

Genuinely offended that we are now officially into the final month of 2017. However, buzzing off ma face that the Celebration tins are coming out and Slade is playing on the radio. I’ve been using all of these products constantly and faithfully for the entirety of the month. And I’m so impressed with my own commitment to them. It’s a love affair that I need to share with you all, so let’s get into the November favourites!

Pixi Glow Tonic

Now I tried out the miniature version in my first impressions post, and it was lovely and all but I didn’t really think too much into it. However, I saw a larger bottle on sale in M&S and decided that the hype around this product warranted a second and thorough investigation. And Lord above I have fallen into place with the masses who love this product. It gets all the grime out of my skin. Even if I’m being mega gross and just using micellar water and this. It tightens up my pores, it is doing a stellar job at keeping those little blemishes at bay, and I’ve noticed that markings left after a beasty spot and vanishing a lot quicker. I won’t lie, the price does make me incredibly sad, but for the results I think it is worth it. My inner tight arse is dry heaving at the previous statement.

Dolce & Gabbana Pour Femme Perfume

I got this little gem for my birthday back in June, and I loved it straight away. However, I went on holiday not long after, and then the summer rolled around it just got forgotten about. So I found him unloved at the back of my perfume shelf, so I blew the dust off and popped him to the front. And I’ve honestly worn this scent everyday throughout November. It’s a very sweet and girly scent; it has notes of jasmine, orange blossom and raspberries, making it subtle yet sexy. And I love it as a classic daytime fragrance. I’ve even had a few compliments; you know you’re onto a winner when someone asks you what you’re wearing!

Beauty Protector Protect & Detangle

I spoke about this in my ‘what I actually use from Birchbox’ post, and I couldn’t not include it in my favourites as I’ve used it every time I’ve washed my hair this month. It’s a heat defence, leave in conditioner and almost everything else you could think of for a hair product. Not only that it smells like I’ve just strolled out of the salon, I would be very grateful if it could be bottled into a fragrance so I could bath in it.

Sanctuary Signature Sanctuary Reed Diffuser

As the winter is now officially here, and all the Christmas gear gets dragged out from the loft. And yet a part of me does dread it. I hate the smell of cinnamon and anything ‘spiced’, and nearly every Christmas scent out there has one of these little devils. I love typically clean smells for the home, and this little baby from Sanctuary is just that. It’s so potent it fills the entire house with a gorgeous ‘I’ve just washed all the towels’ smell. I’ve been religiously rotating the reeds twice a week to keep the smell game strong, and I’m fully prepared to clear the shelves to put one in every room of the house.
